Missions and Outreach

Throughout the year we host multiple events to engage with our community, from Winterfest to our Resurrection Egg Hunt and Trunk or Treat. Our Prison Ministry involves visiting Pinellas County Jail every Sunday for a church service where we present the gospel. We also host an annual missions conference every February and get to know visiting missionaries and become increasingly aware of the need for missions in our ever-changing world. Every year we send teams around the world to provide support to our missionaries. These trips can vary from student trips, medical, construction, outreach and more. If you are interested in joining one of our trips, email Pastor Tom for more information.

Starkey Road actively supports over 50 missionaries around the world. We currently support 8 missionaries that live in the United States and serve at Christian camps and missions' organizations. We also support over 42 missionary families on almost every other continent. We hear updates from our missionaries often, and annually hear from some of our missionaries at our Missions Conference in February.

Our Resurrection Egg Hunt is a family style outreach on Easter Saturday! We have bounce houses, carnival games, bubbles, crafts, and more! Wait, what about easter eggs? You will travel from station to station all around our campus to not only find easter eggs, but to find piece by piece a part of Jesus' story. 

VBS week is the best week of the year! We invite 3 year olds to 5th graders learn about Jesus through Bible lessons, crafts, games, snacks, missions, worship, and so much more! 

Trunk or Treat, an annual event on Halloween night, transforms our parking lot into a lively space filled with creatively decorated cars. Children receive candy, but our outreach goes beyond sweets. Alongside the treats, we distribute tracts and present the gospel, aiming to make meaningful connections within our community.

Winterfest is our winter outreach on campus that includes a Christmas Market, Polar Express Train Rides, Food Trucks, Cookies & Cocoa, & so much more! Don't forget to check out the centerpiece of our outreach, our Walk Through Nativity where you will hear about the birth of Christ and the Gospel. This is a great seasonal outreach into the community.
