SRBC Facility Agreement 

As part of its ministry to church members and ministry partners, Starkey Road Baptist Church (SRBC) has agreed to make its facilities available outside of the normally scheduled church services and programs under the following parameters:
  • Priority will be given to church members and groups. 
  • Saturday usage after 5:00pm will not be permitted. 
  • Church grounds, Nursery, KidsZone, and the upstairs of the Education Center are excluded from consideration. 
  • Children's birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and graduation parties are excluded from consideration. 
  • To initiate the approval process, this completed request form must be submitted. Following approval, your payment will be accepted by check or online payment if applicable. Requests by SRBC groups or families will be considered by the pastoral staff; requests from outside groups or organizations may be considered by the SRBC board of deacons. 
  • There is no rental fee; however, SRBC will assess operator and custodial fees to outside groups for weddings and select SRBC group or member events. Fees are listed below. 
User should be aware of the following parameters: 
  • SRBC reserves the right to deny or rescind permission of any request based on concerns related to the biblical doctrines and practices believed and held by the Church. 
  • SRBC is a smoke free, alcohol free, and drug free environment. 
  • Church grounds, facilities, furnishings, and equipment are gifts from God. Organizers are responsible for any damage incurred by their members or guests. 
  • For large events, the church recommends securing traffic assistance directly with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Organizers assume responsibility for all safety and security concerns. 
  • A wavier of liability may be requested from insurance carriers of outside groups. 
  • Deliveries should be made during normal church hours of 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday. 
  • Worship Center: Custodial fee covers clearance of platform up to the choir loft. Choir chairs can be removed at an additional fee. Piano and drums will not be moved and their use should be arranged in advance. Only SRBC approved technicians may operate equipment in the AV area. Operators will be available prior to service to test equipment and conduct sound checks. AV operators serve in a ministry capacity and do not hold certifications in their area of service. 
  • Weddings: Bride and groom rooms will be designated by the church office. Further guidelines will be provided prior to the approval of the request. 
  • Kitchens: All unused food products must be removed after the event. All kitchen utensils and equipment should be cleaned and returned to their original location and condition. Trash bags should be closed and collected in single location.

SRBC Facilities

The following are the fees per building per usage. Please check the following that you believe your event will be needing. Funerals are at no cost to the family. Once approved, steps for payment will be given to the event organizer.

Custodial Fee
There is a $350 charge for our custodial team to come and clean restrooms and building after use. 
Sound Operator (Music & Mics)
This fee is to pay one of our trained volunteers to come and serve. The fee is $150 for event and $150 if you have a different rehearsal day.
Computer Operator (Anything on Screen)
This fee is to pay one of our trained volunteers to come and serve. The fee is $150 for your event.
Livestream Video Operator
This fee is to pay one of our trained volunteers to come and serve. The fee is $150 for your event.
Livestream Sound Operator
This fee is to pay one of our trained volunteers to come and serve. The fee is $150 for your event.
Light Operator (Light Changes during Event)
This fee is to pay one of our trained volunteers to come and serve. The fee is $50 for your event.
Choir Loft Chairs Cleared
There is a fee of $100 for clearing our on stage choir loft chairs.
