ChristmasFest gives our church the opportunity to equip families with gifts & resources and to encourage by making lasting Christmas memories together! And we need your help to come and serve our community in various ways! Please consider signing up below for this great and fun outreach!

2025 Volunteer Assignments 

Thank you so much for signing up to volunteer for ChristmasFest 2025!
We are going to have a great morning together welcoming our community on campus to be equipped & encouraged! I know that some of you might have signed up a while ago so I will add below the sign up and role for each person per the time slot that was chosen!
No matter your role for volunteering here is some important information that you need to know! The weather is looking like it is going to be a cool into warm morning so please make preparations! Layers will be best and don't forget to stay hydrated! Work as a team when it comes to bathroom breaks or if there is any needs! 

Food Service Team

Food Service 10am - 12pm Volunteers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! We will have grills cooking pancakes and link sausages lead by David Merrill and a team! We will need your help making sure that the hot food makes it out to the guest and that the tables in the dining area are picked up and clean for constant use!

Bounce House Team & Slide Managers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! Please simply spread out around each bounce house. Make sure that children are taking their shoes off as they enter and that none of them get rough with each other. There are two different bounce house/obstacle courses for children to play on. If you are a slide manager, then you will be at the top of the slide the entire time making sure the children go one at a time and do not get rough. Remember safety is important!

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! This role has changed quite a bit due to a smaller number of volunteers so if this role no longer works for you and your family, please let me know! Instead of spending the entire time around the festival, your family is going to be given a table in the eating area to host! Get to know the family you are sitting with and be an encouragement to them. Please feel free to enjoy the food and drinks alongside them. If families get up to enjoy other areas of the festive get ready to welcome a new family in! If most families are done eating at any point, then travel around the festival and get to know families! 

Kids Craft Team

Make & Take Crafts 10am - 12pm Volunteers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! At this tent children will be able to use markers to design their own wooden ornament. Help these children with coloring and encourage them while they are doing it! 

Carnival Games Team

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! There are five different carnival games that guest can play: Football Toss, Car/Disc Push, Golf Putt, Goblet Pong, & Ring Toss. The instructions for each game will be with each game! Encourage guests to play and even add some new challenges along the way. With each win give the winners the opportunity to get candy for your specific bucket! 

Cocoa & Coffee Team

Cocoa & Coffee 10am - 12pm Volunteers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! The instructions for making coffee and making cocoa will be given to you and the supplies will be found in the Education Center kitchen! Please make sure all the items for the cocoa bar are out alongside the coffee supplies! 

Cookie Decorating Team

Cookie Decorating 10am - 12pm Volunteers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! Guest will be able to come and decorate cookies at this station! These cookies were made by different people in our congregation and have different flavors! They are of course allow to each them immediately if parents permit. Place cookies on small plates for easy transport if they do not want to eat them then. 

Photo Booth Team

Photo Booth 10am - 12pm Volunteers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! Guests will come and take pictures with Santa! Help Santa get to the Photo Booth area and take pictures with guests' phones! 

Registration Team

Registration 10am - 12pm Volunteers

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! Each family will come to check in at the registration tent! Simply ask the family which name they placed their registration under. Find that name and check them off the list. Ask each family member to write their name tag and place it on their shirts. Inform them that each activity has signage, each are free, and that gifts will available at 12pm. If there are any questions simply come back to this tent! 

Face Painting Team

Instructions: Once on campus head to the registration tent to check in (See the map above for directions)! Our wrapping room will be in the Kid's Zone. There you will find tables and the presents. The presents are currently broken down by family and should remain that way. Simply grab a container, grab one of the bags inside the container, and start wrapping! There will be a gift tag in the bag letting you know the child's name. Wrap the items in their bag and write and place name tags on each present. Place all the gifts for each child back in the family box and wait for the family to come and get their gifts at 12pm!
