SRBC believes that ministry and service opportunities are vital to the health of our church. With that in mind, we strive to make available many opportunities for our church body to get connected in community, loving and serving one another, and reaching out to those around us.
We would like to thank you for your interest in our Study Groups. The purpose of our Study Groups is to teach the Word of God while at the same time encouraging the building of interpersonal relationships through interaction and fellowship with other Study Group members. We offer a variety of classes, teaching styles, and topics in our Study Groups.
Our Study Groups meet every Sunday at 9:00 & 10:30 am, if you have any questions feel free to call the church at (727)-397-1654.
BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER MEETING
Each Wednesday evening at 7 pm at the same time as the other Wednesday evening ministries, we meet for a more traditional Bible Study and Prayer Meeting. We take time each week to pray for some of the needs that have been shared with us and then have a study in God’s word. We regularly receive missionaries who give are able to give us an update on their ministries. We currently are meeting in the Choir Room at the south entrance to the Worship Center.
Our Senior Ministry is for everyone 62 and older. We would love to have you join with us. There are monthly activities generally from September through June. This years regular activities include the SNAC evening and the SSL Luncheon (see descriptions below). Come and join us.
For more information email our Director of Senior Ministry Terry here.
twice a month we meet in the Fellowship Hall from 9 to noon, to make Wordless Books (over 9 million have been made) and other items needed by missionaries (dresses, shorts, quilts, etc.). For more information, click here:
(SUNDAY NIGHT AFTER CHURCH)
One Sunday evening a month (September through May) we have a special fellowship time after the Sunday evening service. Light refreshments are served and each evening there is an informal program. Suggested donation $2 per person to cover cost of food.
(SUCCESSFUL SENIOR LIVING LUNCHEON)
This is a once a month Tuesday Fellowship Dinner with a guest speaker. Each month we bring a dish to share and have a guest speaker who addresses a topic of particular interest to Senior Adults.
As years go by, once active members sometimes lose their ability to get out. Our Shut-in Visitation ministry has as a goal to not allow anyone to be forgotten. Perhaps God has given you a heart to minister to these very special people.
Men’s prayer & Bible Study – The first Saturday of the month all men and sons are invited to join us in the downstairs of the Family Center for a time of prayer, Bible study, and breakfast. We start at 9am and dismiss at 10am. Its a great opportunity to connect with other men and to hit on topics that are specifically designed to encourage and challenge the men of the church.
Our men’s ministry also has many seasonal actives to choose from. For more information email PastorTom@SRBC.org
