SRBC believes that ministry and service opportunities are vital to the health of our church. With that in mind, we strive to make available many opportunities for our church body to get connected in community, loving and serving one another, and reaching out to those around us.
Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF)
We would like to thank you for your interest in our ABF ministry. ABF is an acronym for “Adult Bible Fellowships”. The purpose of our ABF ministry is to teach the Word of God while at the same time encouraging the building of interpersonal relationships through interaction and fellowship with other class members. We offer a variety of classes, teaching styles, and topics in our ABF’s.
Our ABF’s meet every Sunday at 9:00 am, if you have any questions feel free to call the church at (727)-397-1654.
JOY Fellowship activities are opportunities for Fun, Food, and Fellowship. Once a month throughout the winter months we plan a one-day excursion. We visit a local attraction and have a meal together. The activities, dates and costs are published by September.
Seniors ABF Class – Each Sunday morning at 9 AM we have several Adult Bible Fellowship Classes that minister more directly to our Seniors. Each class has an excellent Bible teacher but also seeks to foster the fulfillment of the “one another” commands in the New Testament within their class.
SNAC (Sunday Night After Church) – One Sunday evening a month (September through May) we have a special fellowship time after the Sunday evening service. Light refreshments are served and each evening there is an informal program. Suggested donation $2 per person to cover cost of food.
Shut-in Visitation – As years go by, once active members sometimes lose their ability to get out. Our Shut-in Visitation ministry has as a goal to not allow anyone to be forgotten. Perhaps God has given you a heart to minister to these very special people.
For more information email our Director of Senior Ministry Terry here.
Men’s prayer & Bible Study – The first Saturday of the month all men and sons are invited to join us in the downstairs of the Family Center for a time of prayer, Bible study, and breakfast. We start at 9am and dismiss at 10am. Its a great opportunity to connect with other men and to hit on topics that are specifically designed to encourage and challenge the men of the church.
Our men’s ministry also has many seasonal actives to choose from. For more information email PastorTom@SRBC.org
